The story behind the painting:
A solitary woman is sitting on a bar counter, green velvet curtains behind her. Her figure suggests that in her early life she must have been a dancer, but now her profession is quite different. You can tell from her eyes that she misses her past with great sadness. The mood of this painting inspired the song, "Dancing".
