The story behind the painting:
Intrigue, spies, dark streets, film noir... these have all been strong influences in my life. The secret agent in silhouette is smoking a cigarette and the tiny red glow is the only color breaking through the dark blue-gray of the night. The street lamp is not lit to further accentuate the mysterious mood. This painting totally inspired a much later SAILOR song, "Keep Off The Streets At Night."
